Here is a loving reminder not to put off the things you want to experience and accomplish.
Happy New Year, one and all!
It has been a long — and I mean loooong — time since I’ve written a blog post.
And to tell you the truth, I’m really not writing this one.
Instead, I’m going to share with you a valuable email I received on the last day of 2022 from my friend Matt Toledo.
Matt is the former publisher of the Los Angeles Business Journal who now is CEO of ProVisors, a networking organization for seasoned business advisors. As befits a networking executive, Matt does a good job of staying in touch with his colleagues. An example is his New Year’s Eve email, which he sends each year to several of his old friends in business publishing (I am honored to be among them).
I will not add to or subtract from a single word of Matt’s email because I could not express its sentiments any better than Matt already has. I only will encourage you to embrace the words as though they were written by a friend to you, especially when it comes to living a TNT life.

Don’t know what a TNT life is? Read Matt’s email…
Brothers and Sisters–
My prayer for you on this eve of the New Year is that God will continue to provide you the wellness, courage and focus to live your best life… to have an even greater impact on your family, those you hold most dear, and on your community.
We all continue to learn that life is short. As a loving reminder… don’t put off the things you want to experience and accomplish.
It’s like my friend George Graziadio always said to me: “Matt, TNT” (TNT stands for Today, Not Tomorrow). George owned a prominent bank in Los Angeles, a sizable real estate portfolio, he established the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University, and always took memorable vacations with his growing family – he lived a BIG life. George wasn’t my mentor and he never lectured me, but I learned so much just by watching and listening to him.
I miss you all…and am incredibly grateful for the very special friendship we share.
Sending my love and wishing you a Happy New Year! Matty
And remember…. TNT
